What is the gospel that saves and why can we have faith in Christ ?

The gospel that saves is the message of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ alone. This is based on the biblical truth that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and that the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23).

We can have faith in Christ because He is the Son of God who lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, and rose again on the third day, conquering death and providing the way for us to be reconciled to God (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). It is by grace through faith that we are saved, not by our own works (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Faith in Christ is the only way to salvation, as Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). Therefore, we can have faith in Christ because He is the only way to eternal life and the forgiveness of our sins.
