Can a man live a sin-free life after confessing Jesus as Savior?
According to the Bible, while believers are called to strive for holiness and righteousness (1 Peter 1:15-16), the reality is that all humans are sinful by nature (Romans 3:23). Even after confessing Jesus as Savior, Christians will continue to struggle with sin (Romans 7:14-25).
While sanctification is a process of becoming more like Christ, perfection is not attainable in this life. 1 John 1:8 states, "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." However, believers are encouraged to confess their sins and trust in God's forgiveness (1 John 1:9).
Ultimately, it is God's grace that covers our sins and enables us to persevere in the Christian life. Philippians 1:6 assures us that "He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."
In conclusion, while believers should strive for holiness, perfection is not achievable in this life. Trusting in God's grace and forgiveness is essential for the Christian walk.
